Dreischeibenhaus Düsseldorf
A 95-meter-high construction site, encased in a heritage-protected façade, in the middle of Düsseldorf’s city center.
The renovation of the Dreischeibenhaus, located in Düsseldorf’s city center, had to be carried out with consideration for the heritage-protected façade. Without additional transport openings in the façade, approx. 50 tons of reinforcing steel and approx. 270 m³ of concrete were used. The concrete, some of which was subject to monitoring, was transported to heights of up to 95 m during its setting time using two external elevators.
